Q: Who's the genius behind the Eds? A: In two words, animation ace Danny Antonucci. In another three words
his company - a.k.a. CARTOON Inc. In many more words, there are lots of
folks who work on Ed, Edd n Eddy, you can click to have a look at the credits for the show here Q: Does a.k.a. know about Edtropolis? A: Yep, they sure do! It and its sister site, Animation by
Mistake, both have Danny Antonucci's full approval and our official message board even gets the
occasional visit from the guys at AKA. Rest assured too that although they might not always say much, they do monitor the site closely for fan feedback
and reactions. You can check out what various a.k.a.
members have said about Edtropolis (formerly the Eddzone) here Q:
Does a.k.a. have an official website? A: As of this writing, no, they don't.
Hey, they're too busy making the Eds movie for us to enjoy! =) Q:
So where can I find out about Danny and a.k.a.? A: Well, you could do worse than visit our
other website dedicated to them: Animation by Mistake. It was built with collaboration from Danny
and many others at a.k.a.; on it you can read interviews with many of the writers,
animators, voice actors, etc., and learn about the hard work that goes into
making the Eds. You can access AbM here, or via the link
on Edtropolis' main menu. Q:
I want to send a.k.a. some fanmail; do you know their address? A: How do you want to send your fanmail?

Whom can I contact to ask about more Eds

Are Ed, Edd n Eddy episodes available on video or DVD
yet?
a.k.a. CARTOON
If you'd like to email a.k.a., you should
write to yak@akacartoon.com - of course PLEASE
be polite and DO NOT send them forwards, spam, or other junk.
For regular post you can write to the address
below but please mark your envelope clearly with the words 'fan mail;'
this makes it easier to split from the company's business mail and means that
your letter can be forwarded to the relevant department more quickly:
a.k.a. CARTOON Inc,
# 200 - 211 Columbia St,
Vancouver, BC,
V6A 2R5,
Canada
Again, don't send junk mail or make
unreasonable requests, demands for freebies, etc., and please - be
polite!
A: Well obviously we can't say for certain!
In part it depends on what you're saying or asking and please bear in mind
that a.k.a. is an incredibly busy company so don't be disappointed if you don't
hear back. But no matter what, I can
assure you that Danny and Co really do appreciate hearing from their fans we've seen the huge books of fanmail they keep at the studio to prove it!
A: Okay, as ever people, when writing in
please be polite and don't make a nuisance of yourselves. These are contact
addresses to send fanmail (not junk or spam or stupid demands) via their
agents of the voice actors who supply the tonal lilts for the 3 Eds:
ED (Matt Hill) c/o The
Characters, 200 - 1505 W. 2ND Ave. Vancouver BC, V6H 3Y4, Canada
EDD (Samuel Vincent) c/o Lucas
Talent, 100 W. Pender St. Vancouver BC, V6B 1R8 Canada
EDDY (Tony Sampson) c/o Carrier
Talent, 1260 Hornby St. Vancouver BC, V6Z 1W2 Canada
We also have the addresses of a few of your other
favourite characters although at this point we're still working on the rest
for now, though, you can mail the following actors at the addresses below:
SARAH/LEE (Janyse Jaud) c/o Magical Voice Productions, 1755 Robin Street, Suite 605 Vancouver BC V6G 3B7 Canada
MAY/NAZZ (from S2 onwards)(Erin Fitzgerald) c/o H.M. Peterson
Talent, 7471 Schaefer Ave, Richmond BC, V6Y 2W7 Canada
Please be sure to clearly mark your
envelope 'fan mail' so it gets forwarded to the correct department. And finally remember that actors lead busy
and varied lives so they may not have time to answer all their mail personally;
if you do get a response then lucky you ^^ think of it as a big bonus!
Q:
When and where did Ed, Edd n Eddy premiere?
A: In the US, Ed, Edd n Eddy premiered on Cartoon Network in January 1999, and in the UK & Europe it premiered on March 1999 on CN - UK/Europe.Today it airs in dozens of countries and is translated into many different languages including British Sign Language.
Q:
Have you got a list of the episodes in Season 1/2/3/4 etc.?
A: Of course, just check out our Episode Guides (linked from the main menu) There's a page for each season, on which you'll find an episode
list and brief synopsis of each. Once
you're there you can also click on any episode to get a longer description,
quotes, screen grabs and favourite moments!
Q: Do you know when the next season / episode is going to come out?
A: If we do, it'll be up on our News Page here
so check there for the most up-to-date information. You might also want to check out the TV Schedule forum
on Earth to Edd to see what episodes will be playing over the next week or
so. Please note that we usually only
have this information for the U.K. and U.S. this is partly because this is
where we're based, partly because the majority of our visitors are come from
these countries and partly because there are so many Cartoon Networks around
the world today that it just gets too hard to maintain schedule information for
all of them. If your country isn't
represented here you might be able to find information on your regional Cartoon
Network website.
A: We get these types questions a lot, and
while we all have our own guesses and opinions the truth is we don't know for
certain any more than you do. You can check out the interviews on Animation by Mistake to see what
some of the folks from a.k.a. have to say but don't expect a truly concrete
answer even from them. After all, part
of the fun of Ed, Edd n Eddy is speculating on the many and varied
"mysteries" of the cul-de-sac and knowing that your answer is just as
valid as anybody else's admit it, you wouldn't really want to know any
of these for certain, would you?
If you'd like to discuss these and other
EEnE topics with your fellow Eds-fans, why not join Earth to Edd, Edtropolis' official
message board? Rest assured you can
find plenty of ongoing discussions about these sorts of matters so sign up and
jump right in!
A: Well, to be honest we don't know this
one for certain, either however, in Season 1's 'A Pinch to Grow an Ed' we can
see by the growth chart markings on Eddy's wall that he's at least 12, and in
Season 4's 'Your Ed Here,' Eddy's got an ID card in his wallet that also puts
his age at 12 (at least at the time that ID card was made!). Between that and things like Edd's comment
about "puberty opening [Eddy's] door to adulthood" in S3's 'Ed Marks
the Spot,' it's probably safe to say the Eds are around 12 or so but
again, a.k.a. has never expressly stated this so your guess is as good as ours!
Q:
What kind of Ed, Edd n Eddy merchandise is available now? Where can I get it?
A: Obviously this will continue to change so
instead of providing a concrete and easily-outdated answer, we recommend you
check out our
Q:
Will any new merchandise be coming out? Every other toon on CN seems to have
loads!
A: Agreed, the merchandise for the Eds has
been paltry to say the least! Don't give up hope yet, though.
Q:
Cool! So whom do I write to if I want to ask about more merchandise being made
available?
Cartoon Network's Customer Service Department says we can contact them to ask for more Eds merchandise via email at shop@cartoonnetwork.com - or by sending a letter to the following address:
Cartoon
Network
Customer
Service – USA
730
East Church St, Suite 19
Martinsville,
VA 24112-5075
They also suggest using the Feedback Form in
the Customer Service section of their (US-based) CartoonNetwork.com website
as of this writing you can access it by clicking here and
scrolling to the Feedback Form link on the left-hand side of the
screen. As always, please remember your
manners when writing angry or insulting comments aren't likely to help the
cause!
Q: Are
Ed, Edd n Eddy episodes available on DVD yet?
A: At time of update (Jan 2008) there are a slew of Eds DVDs available in the U.S. and also a few in the U.K
These include complete seasons so far Season 1 and 2), a couple of mixed season 'shorts' and some themed compilations
with other CN toons. Hopefully there will be more to come including the release of seasons 3,4 & 5 and eventually the Eds movie too (currently still in production.) Stay tuned for further details
and of course check out online stores such as Amazon and your regular stores such as Target etc!
