SEASON 2

In which Eddy's desire to be the best leaves him on the slippery slope to ruin

READY, SET ... ED

After Ed's little toy monster captures Edd's heart but when it reveals exactly what Ed stores under his bed, Eddy and Double D just have to go outside. But there's no respite as Kevin is hard at work breaking every cul-de-sac record ever set in front of an adoring audience. Its all too much for Eddy's jealousy bone which begins to feel that old familiar ego-twinge. Worse still, even Ed n Edd are impressed by Kevin - he has got to be stopped.

Eddy decides to try his skill at cycling too but after an abortive - and highly painful - attempt at the world's scariest cycle ramp decides to try his luck elsewhere and soon has Double D hard at work again, this time building a popcorn-fuelled rocket ship capable - according to Eddy at least - of travelling around the world in record time. Seeing the kids are torn between scepticism and wanting to buy it Eddy's imagination goes into hyperdrive which is the reason why he has got Ed and Double D loping along against a scrolling background dressed as Scots, Mexicans, Swiss and even Sharks. Jimmy is impressed but Plank is feeling woozy and Kevin all too swiftly smells a rat which leaves the Eds in a downward spiral of their own making, quite literally!

Edd's innocent delight and Eddy's scalding indifference towards Ed's little wind up munching monster toy which eventually goes AWOL under Ed's bed revealing all sorts of unsanitary grot!

Eddy burning up with jealousy as he watches Kevin get all the admiration for his cycle skills, worse still even Ed and Edd are impressed by him.

Eddy and Kevin trying to outdo one another in the "after you" stakes, over arm throws, trampling each others faces in the dirt and even a little French thrown in - c'est formidable!

Ed blithely stuffing all the kids into Eddy's rocket ship with little consideration for comfort, but at least as Eddy says they haven't got his stinky pits to contend with too!

The Eds faces that split second before their bicycle descends the ramp of doom!

Double D and Ed skipping along and trying to fool the other kids with their skiing, bagpipes and Lederhosen while Eddy crammed in his rocket-ship with the other kids gives a confident "world-tour" running commentary
