This section was originally started in early 2004 to form a tribute page to Ed, Edd n Eddy creator's Danny Antonucci's animation studio AKA CARTOON's first 10 years in the animation industry.
Danny, not only responsible for the Eds but also the Brothers Grunt, Lupo the Butcher and a frenzy of other inspired animated inimitables set up his Vancouver-based animation company on April Fool's day 1994 and hasn't looked back since.

 --Kit: 'Bring on Nanno's famous cardoon rissoles for Aka Cartoon is ten and the Ed, Edd n Eddy Zone is five! Well okay, on the other hand it's probably safer to just go bake an Ed-sized gravycake to aid the celebrations but I digress. What can I say Danny, except where would this site be without you and all your help and encouragement? Many, many thanks for it and so much more besides, not just for the Eds but for all your wonderful in-yer-face work and for being a source of inspiration to so many people young and old alike and for proving that you don't have to follow the herd to get to the top of the heap.
I hope to get together with you & the gang again sometime in the future and I hope aka cartoon continues to go from strength to strength, bringing you as much happiness as your work has brought others. Three cheers and plenty o' beers for the flaming pencil wielding King of the cul-de-sac, long may you reign 'cos nobody does it better!

Their cartoon inspires me to look at people with a different air, because the Eds just ignore kevin and everyone when they bombard them with "dorks", and "ripoff artist" but they roll along. everyone has something to hide and to not notice it is wrong isn't good. But to notice it is wrong and still treat those who it affects like normal people is a sign of true emotional strength. I find that quality in Ed.'
