This website is dedicated to Ed, Edd n Eddy, a cartoon show that airs regularly on Cartoon Network worldwide. The show features the mishaps and adventures of 3 boys and their neighbourhood peers and focuses on their daily trials and tribulations. As befitting a children's programme there are comic situations, scenes that may relate in some way to real life and small doses of 'classic cartoon' style violence. There is no profanity.

Here you can access character-dedicated pages, episode guides, picture galleries, show-related facts and so on. These sections have all been specifically designed and written with youngsters in mind. I hope you will not find anything of objectionable content within them.

This section of the site encourages creativity and visitors are invited not only to browse the galleries but also to send in their own artwork which will then uploaded onto the site and displayed in one of our online galleries in turn. Please note that the use of nicknames or first names only by artists when crediting their work is strongly encouraged. I will never display email addresses.

All pictures on the fanart section are carefully screened before uploading to ensure there is nothing of any objectionable content and certainly nothing meriting above a PG-13 content

The poetry archive contains a selection of original poetry, as with artwork all poetry has been checked by myself before uploading to ensure there is nothing of any objectionable content and certainly nothing meriting above a PG-13 content.

I believe creative writing, as well as stretching the imagination and helping hone grammar can be enormously liberating, especially for youngsters & so with that in mind this section of the site previously encouraged visitors to send in their Ed, Edd n Eddy Fanfiction (own original stories.).

I never have and never will allow graphic violence, racism, incendiary topics or adult themes on the site. There is no 'R' or above rated fanfiction on Edtropolis.

Although Edtropolis has been rated as being suitable for all ages it does include links to other sites the contents of which I can obviously not be held responsible for. Although I do check each linked site regularly to ensure that it is still acceptable & opens into a new browser window, it is ultimately up to you as the parent / guardian to make a decision on the site's content yourself and see whether or not to allow your child to visit them.

This section of the site is rated PG-13. Animation by Mistake is my 'website within a website' dedicated to the makers of Ed, Edd n Eddy - Vancouver based a.k.a. Cartoon. The web-site is currently stand alone and independent from the Eddzone but it is linked to the main site via a clickable link in the menu bar.

Please take a few minutes to check out the Animation by Mistake site before you allow your children to browse there, being mindful of its PG-13 rating. I am careful with what I include but there is a slightly higher level of expletives etc which may be encountered via the various material & interviews found there.

This site also has an active free to join online community called 'Earth to Edd'. On this message board we encourage members to interact and discuss various aspects of the show along with other general topics of conversation. There is a strict PG-13 topic limit on 'Earth to Edd' and the forums are carefully monitored by myself and several other responsible friends of mine who take great care to ensure that things run smoothly for all of our members.

To help things run smoothly and safely for everyone, Earth to Edd asks that children be at least 12 years old before they may join. Our registration process includes a mandatory birthdate field (including birth year) that can be seen only by E2E admin and is used as one criterion for joining. While children younger than 12 can view the boards as an unregistered guest, they must be at least 12 before they can register and enjoy full posting rights. In addition, pre-teen members (those between the ages of 12 and 13) are noted by admin upon their registration and watched more closely when they first join to ensure they can post responsibly and safely for both themselves and our other members.

If your youngster over the age of 12 has expressed an interest in signing up I would be glad to discuss it with you first if you so wish - we are very careful with all of our young members and will often remind them not to be quite so open about themselves knowing that kids will be kids and are naturally trusting.

Of course no system is completely foolproof and although I take every care to keep the site running smoothly it does happen that every once in a while someone will be stupid and leave a foolish comment either in the forum or the guest book. Luckily many of the regulars who visit this site are also my good friends and if I don't see this straight away then one of them surely will in which case they inform me and I remove the offending article at the first opportunity
