10 YEARS of ED, EDD n EDDY - it's time to celebrate!
   
Doesn't time fly? On January 4th of 2009 it was ten years to the day that CN's brand new show Ed, Edd n Eddy premiered in the USA, and was quickly followed by other countries across the globe. One of Cartoon Network's 'home grown' Cartoon Cartoons series along with such well-loved shows as Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, Cow & Chicken, PPG, & Courage, Ed, Edd n Eddy soon became a big hit with audiences of all ages.
But of course it didn't stop there because since that premiere in 1999 the Eds just haven't looked back, going from strength to strength with five successful seasons under their belts plus 3 holiday-themed & 1 'alien' themed special along with a sixth season in the shape of 2 shows & a full-length TV movie. Along the way there's even been the odd bit of merchandise such as DVDs, T shirts, posters & various collectables.
And then there's the Fans. Over the past 10 years the Eds have developed a vast, loyal & dedicated fanbase which has created thousands of pieces of artwork & fanfiction, plus music videos, banners, wallpapers, animations & of course websites * & online communities. There's simply no denying that the show has been a huge success for CN as well as the Eds creator Danny Antonucci & AKA Cartoon.
* And yes we are blowing our own trumpets here but as if ten years of the Eds on TV wasn't enough for us, on April 5th Edtropolis - the Ed, Edd n Eddy Zone will reach its 10th year too. Happy Birthday to us!
So here's to 2009 - the Year of the Eds. Long may they reign!

I've never been more proud to watch a show that still maintains animation's roots spanning from animated scenes like a man riding a horse, in 10 frame sequences to the fantastic shows the millions of children, teens and adults watch in their screens. Ed, Edd n Eddy is no exception. Although, demanded to shut CGI, their drawn-with-hand background remained. Here in Portugal, EEnE was one of the four shows, that opened my eyes, and took me to a world of total happiness. Now, I got to know a little better the world around me just to see how time flew that fast, when for an average person it felt like years. And ten years later, I still witness the bright light of EEnE, so congratulations to Antonucci for making ten years of Ed, Edd n Eddy, the person that I am today.

Joshua @ Alabama: Hello my name is Joshua. My favorite episode is 'The Eds are Coming'. It's when aliens are invading the cul-de-sac, Ed loses his mind when he comes out of an asteroid. Kevin is in charge. Eddy sat back to watch. Johnny sees it with his own eyes but at the end it just turns out to be Rolf's family visiting from the old country. My second favorite episode is 'Sir Ed alot' when Ed, Edd n Eddy have to babysit Ed's little sister Sarah. Turns out that Sarah is a spoiled brat. Everything goes well until Prince Jimmy arrives. My favorite part of Ed, Edd n Eddy Cristmas was when Rolf sang someones great doings. My 3rd favorite episode is 'Gimme Gimme Never Ed'. Plank calls Eddy a bad head no neck chickin livered geek. Plank said that Eddy's mouth runs faster than 6th month old cheese!

The Eds are one of the few shows still on Cartoon Network that exemplifies their slogan "The best place for cartoons." Monty: Yea were coming for a other edtrack. Hello my name is Monty I love to cherish every episode that I watch. I feel like crying like for example when you came on CN and said about the last episode but later on this website that it was the last episode of the season. I was just in relief. My favorite episode is " If It Smells like an Ed" its the one where according to Jimmy and his chums they build a huge heart and later the Eds get framed and later only but Jimmy and Ralph know about the framing. My favorite part is when at the end Jimmy slips at the end. COMEDY!! So in the end I thought Jimmy was a mean wimp but actually in this episode he was a prodigy. I love the effort I say thank you for all the entertainment that you brought to us fans. Thank you Danny and I know that Eds will probably will get new episodes I know that a new movie airs soon so I will just have to wait like the rest of the fans. I remember in perfect detail every single episode of the show, as I've seen each of them countless times...and yet, none of them ever get old, they still have their zing. I went out and bought myself a TiVo (and the subscription to go along with it) just to record and archive every single episode of the show ever (and will include the movie as well) because this show is so good, it must be preserved forever.
